  • Company Name Kindred Credit Union

Job Description

Want to experience banking with purpose?

At Kindred Credit Union, you will be part of cooperative banking that connects values and faith with finances, inspiring peaceful, just, and prosperous communities.

You’re invited to make a difference…as a part-time Member Services Representative (MSR) at our Elmira Branch.

As the welcoming face of Kindred, MSRs serve as a knowledgeable and trusted service partner, assisting members to fulfill a wide variety of everyday banking transactions. You’ll become an expert on Kindred’s distinctive product offerings so you can confidently share information with members, respond to their banking questions, and help them access services from all channels (including mobile, phone and online). The key part of your role will involve building relationships with members to understand what they need, letting them know about what we do, and putting them in touch with branch specialists who can help them achieve their goals. All this adds up to providing a truly Kindred member experience.

You’ll be perfect for this role if you’re relational (you love getting to know people), solution-oriented ((you’re focused on understanding the need and finding the right solution), and passionate about how our credit union does banking differently, and how we can positively impact our communities together.

Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience:
Customer service experience (within financial services an asset)
Some post-secondary education (preferably in accounting/ business)
Comfortable learning new applications and familiar with MS Office
Active commitment to Kindred’s shared values and purpose

Why Kindred

You’ll also be supported in volunteering your talents in community and other programs that are important to you.

We believe that your life is bigger than any job, so we’ll work together to achieve work-life quality and to care for the overall wellness of the whole you. And of course, your rewards package includes competitive total compensation plus an array of financial products and services at preferred rates for staff.

By choosing Kindred, you’ll be joining an engaged workforce: we’re a provider of a Living Wage, and we’re using business as a force for good™ as a B Corp.
