Job Description

Qualifications:
High school diploma
Good customer service skills
Ability to work independently without supervision
Available to work multiple shifts during the hours of 7:30am to 6:00pm including weekends
Good problem-solving skills
Critical-thinking skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills (email, Word, and Excel)
Evidence of satisfactory attendance record
An employee’s disciplinary record will be reviewed as part of the assessment of qualifications
Ability to work in a manner that exemplifies the centre’s core values and helps patients get their life back
Should be aware of conditions and measures that may affect the safety of patients, residents, students, employees, volunteers, physicians and visitors

Accountabilities:
Screen visitors and outpatients for COVID-19 symptoms
Distribute masks to visitors and outpatients, etc as needed
Receive and process essential items including sanitization of items in accordance with protocol
Conduct quality assurance audits to assess compliance with wearing masks, hand hygiene instructions, adhering to length of stay, etc.
Input information into database to support tracking and monitoring of activity
May be required to perform other COVID-19 related activities as deemed appropriate
